The PXI Systems Alliance (PXISA) is an industry consortium that promotes and maintains the PXI (PCI eXtensions for Instrumentation) Standard. The PXISA is an organization chartered to:·
- Promote the PXI Standard
- Ensure interoperability
- Maintain the PXI Specification
PXI has become a dominant industry standard for functional test, ATE, data acquisition and process automation applications. It combines technology from the CompactPCI™ specification with integrated timing and triggering, resulting in a rugged platform with significant performance advantages over other test and measurement architectures.
Founded in 1998, the PXISA is comprised of industry leading companies manufacturing, selling, and integrating PXI-based hardware and software solutions. PXI delivers the performance, flexibility and cost benefits of the latest available technology with the benefits of an established, open industry standard.
